Deck Officer

Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS)

Duration: 1 Year For 12th (Science) / Graduates

DNS is a pathway to become a Deck Officer. The program blends classroom learning with onboard training to build navigation, cargo handling and shipboard management skills.

  • Navigation, chartwork & bridge watch keeping.
  • Cargo operations & ship stability basics.
  • Maritime regulations and COLREGs awareness.
Degree

B.Sc in Nautical Science

Duration: 3 Years Deck Officer Cadet

A full-time degree program that prepares you academically and practically for a long-term career as a Navigating Officer on merchant ships with structured onboard training.

Technical

Electro Technical Officer (ETO)

Duration: 4–6 Months Electrical / Electronics background

The ETO course is aimed at diploma/degree holders in electrical, electronics or related fields who wish to handle electrical, electronic and automation systems on board.

  • Electronic navigation & communication equipment.

Mandatory

STCW & Basic Modular Courses

Duration: As per module All Seafarers

Short mandatory courses as per STCW guidelines that every seafarer must complete before joining a vessel, focusing on safety, survival and security awareness.

  • Personal Survival Techniques (PST).
  • Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities (PSSR).
  • Elementary First Aid (EFA) & Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting (FPFF).
